2024 Season information

Fridays @ Bairnsdale Aquatic & Recreation Centre

  • Started Friday 2nd February 2024, ends FRIDAY 13th DECEMBER 2024
  • 5.30 - 7.30 pm
  • All players pay a $4.80 entry fee payable directly to BARC reception
  • AND an additional $5 shuttlecock fee for non-members/guests/visitors only payable to East Gippsland Badminton Club (EGBA), cash or bank transfer.
  • Every Friday in 2024 until Friday 13th December excluding Public Holiday closures and excluding Friday 16th February

Wednesdays @ Nagle College, Presentation Hall, Bairnsdale

  • STARTS WEDNESDAY 22nd MAY 2024  & FINISHED WEDNESDAY 18th SEPTEMBER 2024
  • 7 - 8.30 pm
  • Term time only
  • $5 shuttlecock fee for non-members/guests/visitors only, payable to EGBA (cash or bank transfer)
    • Term 2: Weds 22nd May - Weds 26th June
      • NO PLAY Weds 6th June (Hall unavailable)
    • Term 3: Weds 17th July - Weds 18th September
    • Term 4: NO PLAY at Nagle in term 4.

Membership fees are payable by the end of March 2024

  • Adults $130
  • Secondary School students $80 
  • N.B. our minimum age of players is year 7 i.e. age 12/13 years.
  • Cash or cheque to Debbie our Treasurer or direct bank deposit. No EFTPOS.
    • If you choose to do a bank transfer, please email confirmation of your transaction to shuttlecock3875@gmail.com or provide a hard copy to Debbie so she can issue your receipt of payment.

  • Membership fees are due 4 weeks from the date of your first attendance for insurance purposes.
  • Pro-rata membership is available for those in the area on short-term placements e.g. students.

Children

  • Are players under the age of 18 years of age.
  • Parents/guardians, children, and all players should be aware of our Child Safe policies here.
  • Please note: Children must be picked up and dropped off from within the hall. Two Committee members must be present for a child to be left unaccompanied. Committee members can be identified by their red T-shirts bearing the club logo.
